During high tea, just before the launch began, quite a crowd gathered around the book display.

The speakers on the panel for the launch were (from the left) Jawhar Sircar, Secretary, Ministry of Culture, New Delhi, Rakhshanda Jalil, the translator of the book, who also teaches at the department of English in Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, Harish Trivedi, Professor, Department of English, University of Delhi and Sudhir Chandra. Jawhar Sircar was also the special guest for the occasion.
