Sushmita Malik, the author of this series, is a well known educationalist. She is an educational consultant with the School Education Board of Punjab.  She has been an educational consultant with the NCERT, and been involved in the District Primary Programme, Haryana.

Sushmita Malik has several years of teaching experience, both in India and abroad. She has taught at the Army Public School (New Delhi), Loreto Day School (Kolkata), and Borough of Brent (London).

She is the author of several of our successfully selling series of schoolbooks, like NewGreen Tree 1–5Nature Quest 1–5, and New Getting Ahead in Social Studies 1–5, which she co-authored.

Abha Sahgal was Founder Principal of Delhi Public School, Sharjah. Thereafter, she was invited to be the Principal of Sanskriti School (New Delhi) which she ably steered for several years. Ms Sahgal had more than 30 years of teaching experience, having started her career in Delhi Public School, RK Puram (Delhi), before moving as Headmistress to Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar, also in New Delhi. Abha Sahgal authored and co-authored several books to critical acclaim.
