Emma is part of the series called Critical Editions, co-published with The English and Foreign Languages University (EFL-U, Hyderabad). This is a series intended to bring literary texts closer to students, of both postgraduate and undergraduate levels. Each edition in the series explores the structure and texture of the chosen text but also places it in its literary and cultural context. Annotations and glosses are provided wherever it is felt that students need help to understand the original.
