Bipan Chandra is a well known historian. He was Professor of History at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, where he is presently an Emeritus Professor. Currently he is the Chairman of National Book Trust, New Delhi. He is the author of books like The Epic Struggle, Aetihasik Sangharsh, Nationalism and Colonialism in Modern India and Essays in Nationalism published by us.
