Modern School Mathematics is a 10-stage course in mathematics for pre-primary, primary and middle school levels. It has been designed to establish a strong foundation in the essentials of mathematics which include concept-learning, developing computing skills and sharpening of skills in mathematics. Books 1-5 cover the revised NCERT syllabus and the Inter-state Board for Anglo Indian Education. Thus, these books cater to schools affiliated to any Board. Books 6-8 are planned for ICSE schools, at the middle school level. As they cover the syllabi of the Inter-State Board for Anglo Indian schools extensively. However, since most of the topics are common they may also be used by schools affiliated to any board.
