Israel Koren is currently a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He has been a consultant to several companies including Analog Devices, AMD, Digital Equipment Corp., IBM, Intel, National Semiconductor and Tolerant Systems Dr. Koren’s current research interests are Models for Yield of VLSI circuits, Techniques for Yield and Reliability Enhancement, Fault-Tolerant Architectures, Real-time systems and Computer Arithmetic. He has published extensively in the IEEE Transactions.
