Computer-Aided Engineering Drawing focuses on the application of computers for engineering drawing and explains the generic process employed by standard engineering software packages step by step. It critically examines the use of various software packages in engineering drawing and reinforces the topics of all chapters with several solved problems.

S Trymbaka Murthy was formerly a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. Prior to VTU, he taught at Siddaganga Institute of Technology, Tumkur.

Professor Murthy has four decades of teaching experience. In addition to this book, he has authored Computer-Aided Engineering Drawing, the fourth edition of which was published by Universities Press in 2014.
